Coming from a family of musicians and Colombian artists, and himself a percussionist, Rocca began composing in 1990. At that time, inspired by the street and the energy of hip hop he exploded in the France scene and was part of the group La Clique. They put out 4 successful albums all over Europe. Rocca then went solo and released three albums from 1997 until 2003, one of which went gold and is considered classics of French rap.
In 2001 he and P.NO formed The Latin Hip Hop group Tres Coronas that released five albums.
He was nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2007 for best songwriter with the song MI TUMBAO with the group Tres Coronas.
He has participated as an composer and producer in different recordings for international artists and has produced music for soundtracks for films such as La Haine by Mathieu Kassovitz in 1995, LA VIDA LOCA of Chritian Poveda in 2007, ASSAULT ON FILM Iria Gomez in 2010. He also produced the original score for the television show RAW TRAVEL and FURIOUS FORCE OF RHYMES.
Most recently he has been contracted to produce the original music for the Documentary series AfroLatinos produced by Creador Pictures. He is in charge of all the music production and scoring.
Rocca at the moment is preparing his fourth solo album for 2012.
